Milwaukee event lineup spans live music, comedy, fundraisers and winter community gatherings

Milwaukee’s calendar for Monday, Feb. 2, through Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026, includes multiple venue-based concert bills, a major public-radio fundraiser built around local visual art, a long-running winter neighborhood festival tied to food-security donations, and a national touring stand-up date downtown.

WMSE’s Art & Music returns to the Pritzlaff Building on Feb. 6

One of the week’s largest organized events is WMSE 91.7 FM’s ninth annual Art & Music event and auction, scheduled for Friday, Feb. 6, from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Historic Pritzlaff Building (333 N. Plankinton Ave.). Organizers have described the fundraiser as an art-and-music night anchored by an auction of 180 album-sized works created on 12-by-12-inch birchwood boards, with the auction opening online Jan. 30 and closing at 10 p.m. during the event.

The event program lists a live soundtrack by DJ Tony Myers and a performance by NINETEEN THIRTEEN, along with food and beverage offerings. Proceeds support the station’s ongoing operations and programming.

Mitten Fest returns to Bay View on Feb. 7 with donations for Hunger Task Force

Saturday, Feb. 7, brings Mitten Fest back outside Burnhearts (2599 S. Logan Ave.) from noon to 8 p.m. The winter festival has been promoted as a neighborhood draw centered on live music, beverages and food vendors, while also serving as a donation point supporting Hunger Task Force. A published schedule lists sets by Bellends (1 p.m.), Hello, Face (2:30 p.m.), Shrinestone (4 p.m.) and The Hallelujah Ward (5:30 p.m.), with between-act DJing.

Comedy, touring acts and multi-venue local bills fill the weekend

Friday night, Feb. 6, includes a stop at the Riverside Theater by comedian Hannah Berner on her “None of My Business Tour,” with a listed start time of 7:30 p.m. The same weekend is also heavy on local and regional bills at clubs and small venues across the city.

  • Tuesday, Feb. 3: a WMSE Local/Live set with Emmitt James at Anodyne’s Walker’s Point location, plus additional live lineups at venues including Cactus Club.

  • Wednesday, Feb. 4: a stand-up showcase billed as “Cowboy Killers” at Falcon Nest.

  • Thursday, Feb. 5: multiple shows across venues including Cactus Club, X-Ray Arcade and Ope! Brewing Co.

  • Saturday, Feb. 7: additional concert and fundraiser programming, including a benefit event at MKE Ultra and more multi-act bills across Riverwest and Bay View.

What this week’s schedule signals for Milwaukee’s winter season

The Feb. 2–8 lineup underscores how Milwaukee’s winter events mix neighborhood institutions (bars, breweries and small clubs) with larger downtown venues and civic-minded fundraising. The week’s anchor events—WMSE’s art auction and Mitten Fest’s donation drive—pair entertainment with organized support for local missions, while nightly bills keep the city’s live-music and comedy circuits active through early February.

Dates and times are specific to the week of Feb. 2–8, 2026; attendees are advised to confirm door times and age restrictions with venues before traveling.
