The parade is planned as a multi-hour operation involving street staging, a set route, and a de-staging period as participants clear the final blocks of the course.

Route, closures, and towing timeline

The published traffic plan outlines street closures beginning in the late morning and continuing into mid-afternoon. A staging area is set to close at 10 a.m., with additional route streets scheduled to close at 11:45 a.m. A de-staging area is expected to close at about 1 p.m. until units have cleared, with the clearance window listed through roughly 2:30 p.m.

The route is described as beginning on West Wisconsin Avenue and continuing through key downtown corridors, including North Plankinton Avenue, West Kilbourn Avenue, North Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, West Juneau Avenue, and North Water Street.
