Search launched after child reported missing Thursday afternoon

Milwaukee police asked for the public’s help to locate a critically missing 10-year-old boy after he was reported missing on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025.

The child, identified as Julian Jackson-Smith, was last seen at about 3 p.m. near North 52nd Street and West Center Street on Milwaukee’s west side. Police said he may have been traveling on foot or using a light-blue scooter.

Police released a physical description and clothing details to assist community members and businesses in recognizing the child.
