Pedestrian & Bicycle Advisory Committee

Location: Zeidler Municipal Building, 841 N. Broadway, Room 501, and virtual hybrid.
The committee will review upcoming infrastructure projects and safety initiatives aimed at improving non-motorized transport throughout the city.Public Safety & Health Committee

Members will discuss pending legislation related to public health services and safety protocols for the upcoming season.Board of City Service Commissioners

The board is set to address personnel matters and city service classifications. Note: The previously scheduled CSC-Anthony Bass Discharge Appeal Hearing has been officially cancelled.
Health Advisory: Measles Exposure Investigation
The Milwaukee Health Department (MHD) remains in an active response phase regarding a confirmed measles exposure involving a traveler at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport earlier this month. The MHD is working closely with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) to identify and contact residents who may have been exposed. Health officials advise all residents to verify their immunization status via the Wisconsin Immunization Registry (WIR). MMR vaccines are currently available at no cost at MHD clinics during regular walk-in hours.
Infrastructure Alert: 27th Street Viaduct Closure
Residents are reminded that the 27th Street Viaduct remains closed for a significant rehabilitation project. This closure affects a major north-south thoroughfare and is expected to continue for a lengthy stretch. Commuters are advised to utilize alternative routes, such as the 16th Street Viaduct or 35th Street, and to allow for extra travel time during peak morning and afternoon hours.
